Have you tried not using WBStartup+? If this works OK then download
the latest version of WBStartup+ from Aminet - it's meant to fix
exactly this problem.

Hmm... You might want to consider using T.H.E. rather than
ToolsDeamon as ToolsDaemon is a bit of a hack.
Other than that, I can't think of anything else off hand.
